باب بيع المدبر - ذكر جواز بيع المدبر إذا كان المدبر عديما لا مال له غير مدبره-
Chapter: Sale of a Mudabbar slave - Permissibility of sale if the mudabbar has no wealth except himself
Hadith Number: 4933
اخبرنا عبد الله بن محمد بن سلم ببيت المقدس، حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن إبراهيم ، قال: حدثنا بشر بن بكر ، قال: حدثنا الاوزاعي، قال: حدثني عطاء بن ابي رباح ، قال: حدثني جابر بن عبد الله ، ان رجلا من اصحاب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم اعتق عبدا له من بعده ولم يكن له مال غيره، فاخذ رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فباعه، وقال: " انت احوج إلى ثمنه والله عنه اغنى" .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: One of the companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) declared his slave to be free after his death. He had no other wealth except this slave. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) took hold of him and sold him. He said: You are more in need of his price, and Allah is more free of need than this.
