Chapter: Forbidden sales - Warning against a city dweller selling for a Bedouin
Hadith Number: 4960
اخبرنا زكريا بن يحيى الساجي ، قال: اخبرنا احمد بن سعيد الهمداني ، قال: حدثنا ابن وهب ، عن الثوري ، عن ابي الزبير ، عن جابر ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لا يبيعن حاضر لباد، ودعوا الناس يرزق الله بعضهم من بعض" .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No townsman should ever make a deal on behalf of a villager. Leave the people alone; Allah, the Exalted, will continue to provide for them through one another."
