Reason for prohibition of this action
Hadith Number: 4963
اخبرنا ابو خليفة ، قال: حدثنا ابو الوليد ، قال: حدثنا زهير بن معاوية ، قال: حدثنا ابو الزبير ، عن جابر ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لا يبيعن حاضر لباد دعوا الناس يرزق بعضهم بعضا" .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No townsman should ever make a deal on behalf of a villager. Leave the people (as they are); they will continue to receive provision through one another."
