باب البيع المنهي عنه - ذكر الزجر عن بيع المرء الطعام الذي اشتراه قبل قبضه واستيفائه-
Chapter: Forbidden sales - Warning against selling food before taking possession and full receipt
Hadith Number: 4985
اخبرنا حامد بن محمد بن شعيب ، قال: حدثنا منصور بن ابي مزاحم ، قال: حدثنا ابو الاحوص ، عن عبد العزيز بن رفيع ، عن عطاء بن ابي رباح ، عن حزام بن حكيم بن حزام يعني، عن حكيم بن حزام ، انه قال: اشتريت طعاما من طعام الصدقة، فاربحت فيه قبل ان اقبضه، فاردت بيعه، فسالت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " لا تبعه حتى تقبضه" .
Sayyiduna Hakim bin Hizam (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I bought some grain from the charity grain. Before taking possession of it, I started getting profit from it. I intended to sell it. I asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) about this, so he said: Do not sell it until you have taken possession of it.
