Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: If you buy fruit from your brother and it is afflicted by a calamity, then it is not permissible for you to take anything from it. On what basis would you take your brother’s wealth without right?

The narrator states: I asked my teacher Abu Zubair: Did Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) mention the name of the calamity in your presence? He replied: No, he did not.
