Chapter: Transfer of debt - Command to follow up when referred to a solvent debtor
Hadith Number: 5053
اخبرنا عمر بن سعيد بن سنان ، اخبرنا احمد بن ابي بكر ، عن مالك ، عن ابي الزناد ، عن الاعرج ، عن ابي هريرة ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " مطل الغني ظلم، وإذا اتبع احدكم على مليء فليتبع" .
Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "Delaying payment by a wealthy person is oppression, and when someone is referred to another for collection, he should go to that (other person)."
