Report refuting the claim that Ubayd ibn al-Sabaq did not hear this narration from Juwayriya
Hadith Number: 5118
اخبرنا حامد بن محمد بن شعيب ، قال: حدثنا سريج بن يونس ، قال: حدثنا سفيان ، عن الزهري ، عن عبيد بن السباق ، قال: حدثتني جويرية بنت الحارث : " ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم دخل عليها، فقال: هل من طعام؟ قالت: لا يا رسول الله، إلا طعام اعطيته مولاة لنا من الصدقة، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: قربيه" .
Sayyidah Juwayriyyah bint Harith (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) came to her. He asked: Is there anything to eat? She replied: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), no, except for some food that was given to our slave girl as charity. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Present that to me.
