Book of Hiring
ذكر الخبر المدحض قول من زعم أن أجرة الحجام حرام وأن كسبه غير جائز-
Report refuting the claim that barber’s wages are forbidden and his earnings unlawful
Hadith Number: 5150
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، قال: حدثنا إبراهيم بن الحجاج السامي ، قال: حدثنا وهيب ، عن ابن طاوس ، عن ابيه ، عن ابن عباس :" ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم احتجم واعطى الحجام اجره واستعط" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) had cupping done, he paid the cupper his fee and gave him more than that.
