كِتَابُ الغَصْبِ
Book of Usurpation
ذكر البيان بأن الظالم الشبر من الأرض فما فوقه يكلف حفرها إلى أسفل من سبع أرضين بنفسه ثم يطوق إياها ذلك-
Clarification that the oppressor must dig the land to the depth of seven earths and bear its burden
Hadith Number: 5164
اخبرنا احمد بن علي بن المثنى ، قال: حدثنا ابو بكر بن ابي شيبة ، قال: حدثنا حسين بن علي ، عن زائدة ، عن الربيع بن عبد الله ، عن ايمن بن ثابت ، عن يعلى بن مرة ، قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، يقول: " ايما رجل ظلم شبرا من الارض كلفه الله ان يحفره حتى يبلغ سبع ارضين، ثم يطوقه يوم القيامة حتى يفصل بين الناس" .
Sayyiduna Ya'la bin Murrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "Whoever seizes a span of land unjustly, Allah will make him dig it until he reaches the seven earths, then on the Day of Resurrection a collar will be placed around his neck which will remain until judgment is passed among the people."
