Book of Usurpation
ذكر الأمر للمرء بنصرة الظالم والمظلوم معا إذا قدر المرء على ذلك-
Command to support both the oppressor and the oppressed if one is able
Hadith Number: 5168
اخبرنا عمر بن محمد الهمداني ، حدثنا ابو الربيع ، حدثنا ابن وهب ، اخبرني سليمان بن بلال ، عن حميد الطويل ، عن انس بن مالك ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " انصر اخاك ظالما او مظلوما"، قالوا: يا رسول الله، هذا ينصره مظلوما، فكيف ينصره ظالما؟ قال:" يكفه عن الظلم" .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates this statement of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him: "Help your brother whether he is an oppressor or oppressed." The people asked: "O Messenger of Allah! We will help the oppressed, but how should we help the oppressor?" The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "By preventing him from oppression."
