باب ما يجوز أكله وما لا يجوز - ذكر الأمر بأكل لحوم الخيل ضد قول من كرهه-
Permissible and Impermissible Foods – Command to eat horse meat, contrary to those who dislike it
Hadith Number: 5269
اخبرنا عبد الله بن محمد بن سلم ، حدثنا محمد بن عبد الاعلى الصنعاني بمكة، حدثنا الطفاوي ، عن ايوب ، عن ابي الزبير ، عن جابر ، قال:" امرنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بلحوم الخيل، ونهانا عن لحوم الحمر الاهلية" .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) reports: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded us to eat the meat of horses (i.e., permitted it), and he forbade us from eating the meat of domesticated donkeys.
