Hospitality – Warning against refusing invitations, even if the event is trivial
Hadith Number: 5292
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، قال: حدثنا محمد بن المنهال الضرير ، قال: حدثنا يزيد بن زريع ، قال: حدثنا سعيد بن ابي عروبة ، عن قتادة ، عن انس ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لو دعيت إلى كراع، لاجبت، ولو اهدي إلي، لقبلت" .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If I am invited to a meal of a sheep's foot, I will accept it, and if it is given to me as a gift, I will accept it."
