Chapter on Etiquette of Drinking - Report That May Seem to Contradict the Hadith of Sahl bin Sa'd
Hadith Number: 5336
اخبرنا ابن سلم ، قال: حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن إبراهيم ، قال: حدثنا الوليد ، قال: حدثنا الاوزاعي ، عن الزهري ، عن انس بن مالك ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم شرب لبنا، عن يمينه اعرابي، وعن يساره ابو بكر، فاعطى الاعرابي فضله، وقال: " الايمن فالايمن" .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) drank milk. On his right side was a Bedouin sitting, and on his left side was Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him). So the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) gave the remaining milk first to the Bedouin and said: The right-side person's right comes first.
