ذكر البيان بأن عبد الرحمن والزبير كانا في غزاة حيث رخص لهما في لبس الحرير-
Clarification That Abdurrahman and Zubair Were Allowed Silk During a Campaign
Hadith Number: 5432
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، قال: حدثنا هدبة بن خالد ، قال: حدثنا همام ، قال: حدثنا قتادة ، عن انس ، ان الزبير بن العوام، وعبد الرحمن بن عوف، شكيا إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم القمل في غزاة لهما، " فرخص لهما في قمص الحرير، فرايت على كل واحد منهما قميص حرير" .
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Zubair bin Al-Awwam (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Awf (may Allah be pleased with him) complained to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about lice. This happened during a battle. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) permitted both of them to wear silk shirts. I saw both of them wearing silk shirts.
