ذكر البيان بأن هذا الأمر إنما أمر به في المغازي وحاجة الناس إليها-
Clarification That This Instruction Was for Times of Battle and Need
Hadith Number: 5458
اخبرنا ابو عروبة ، قال: حدثنا سلمة بن شبيب ، قال: حدثنا الحسن بن محمد بن اعين ، قال: حدثنا معقل بن عبيد الله ، عن ابي الزبير ، عن جابر ، قال: سمعت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول في غزوة غزوناها: " استكثروا من النعال، فإن الرجل لا يزال راكبا ما انتعل" .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: During a military expedition, I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Wear shoes most of the time, for as long as a person keeps his shoes on, he is like a rider."
