Description of the Inscription on the Prophet's Ring
Hadith Number: 5496
اخبرنا ابو خليفة ، قال: حدثنا ابي ، قال: حدثنا عرعرة بن البرند ، قال: حدثنا عزرة بن ثابت ، عن ثمامة ، عن انس بن مالك ، قال:" كان نقش خاتم النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ثلاثة اسطر: محمد سطر، ورسول سطر، والله سطر" .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The inscription on the ring of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was in three lines. The word "Muhammad" was in one line. The word "Rasul" was in one line, and the word "Allah" was in one line.
