ذكر الخبر المدحض قول من زعم أن تختم المرء في يساره من السنة-
Report Refuting Those Who Claim Wearing the Ring on the Left Is Sunnah
Hadith Number: 5499
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، قال: حدثنا سهل بن عثمان العسكري ، قال: حدثنا عقبة بن خالد ، عن عبيد الله بن عمر ، عن نافع ، عن ابن عمر : ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " اتخذ خاتما من ذهب، ولبسه في يمينه، وجعل فصه مما يلي بطن كفه، ثم رمى به، واتخذ خاتما من ورق" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) had a ring made of gold. He wore it on his right hand. He would keep the stone of the ring facing towards the palm. Then he removed it and had a ring made of silver.
