The Prophet Cursed the Woman Who Adds Hair at All Times
Hadith Number: 5514
اخبرنا عمر بن محمد الهمداني ، قال: حدثنا بندار ، قال: حدثنا ابو داود ، قال: حدثنا شعبة ، عن عمرو بن مرة ، قال: سمعت الحسن بن مسلم ، قال: سمعت صفية ، قالت: سمعت عائشة ، تقول: إن جارية زوجوها، فمرضت، فتمعط شعرها، فارادوا ان يصلوا في شعرها، فذكروا ذلك لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لعن الله الواصلة، والمستوصلة، والمواصلة" .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: A girl got married. She fell ill. Her hair fell out. Her family intended to attach artificial hair to her. They mentioned this matter to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), so the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: Allah Almighty has cursed the one who attaches artificial hair, the one who has artificial hair attached, and the one for whom artificial hair is attached.
