Hadith Number: 5746
اخبرنا الحسين بن محمد بن ابي معشر بحران، قال: حدثنا مخلد بن مالك ، قال: حدثنا حفص بن ميسرة ، عن زيد بن اسلم ، قال: كان عبد الملك يرسل إلى ام الدرداء ، قال: وربما باتت عنده، قال: فدعا عبد الملك خادما فابطا عليه، فقال: اللهم العنه، فقالت لا تلعنه، فإني سمعت ابا الدرداء يحدث، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " إن اللعانين لا يكونون شهداء، ولا شفعاء يوم القيامة" .
Zaid bin Aslam narrates: Abdul Malik sent a message to Sayyida Umm Darda (may Allah be pleased with her). The narrator states: That lady would sometimes stay with them. The narrator states: Abdul Malik called his servant, and when he was late in coming, Abdul Malik said: O Allah, curse him. That lady said: Do not curse him, for I heard Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) narrate from the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): "Indeed, those who curse will neither be witnesses nor intercessors on the Day of Resurrection."
