Hadith Number: 5777
اخبرنا الفضل بن الحباب الجمحي ، حدثنا مسدد بن مسرهد ، حدثنا ابو معاوية ، عن الاعمش ، عن ابي صالح ، عن ابي هريرة، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لان يمتلئ جوف احدكم قيحا حتى يريه، خير من ان يمتلئ شعرا" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "For a person’s stomach to be filled with pus is better for him than to be filled with poetry."
