Chapter on Names and Nicknames – Clarifying that“karam”refers to the heart of a Muslim man
Hadith Number: 5833
اخبرنا عمر بن محمد الهمذاني ، قال: حدثنا عبد الجبار بن العلاء ، قال: حدثنا سفيان ، قال: حدثنا الزهري ، عن سعيد بن المسيب ، عن ابي هريرة ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " تقولون: والكرم، وإنما الكرم قلب المؤمن" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "You people call (grapes) 'karm', whereas 'karm' is the heart of a believer."
