Chapter on Images and Image-makers – Image-makers will have the severest punishment on the Day of Judgment
Hadith Number: 5847
اخبرنا محمد بن الحسن بن قتيبة ، قال: حدثنا ابن ابي السري ، قال: حدثنا عبد الرزاق ، قال: اخبرنا معمر ، عن الزهري ، عن القاسم بن محمد ، ان عائشة اخبرته، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم دخل عليها وهي مستترة بقرام فيه تماثيل، فتلون وجه رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، واهوى إلى القرام، فهتكه بيده، ثم قال:" إن اشد الناس عذابا يوم القيامة الذين يشبهون بخلق الله" .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Once the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) came to her and she had hung a curtain on which there were pictures. The face of the Prophet (peace be upon him) changed color, and he moved towards the curtain and removed it with his blessed hand. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Indeed, on the Day of Resurrection, those who make pictures of Allah’s creation will face severe punishment.
