Chapter on Images and Image-makers – Angels do not enter a house with images
Hadith Number: 5849
اخبرنا عمر بن سعيد بن سنان ، قال: اخبرنا احمد بن ابي بكر ، عن مالك ، عن إسحاق بن عبد الله بن ابي طلحة ، ان رافع بن إسحاق ، مولى آل الشفاء اخبره، قال: دخلت انا، وعبد الله بن ابي طلحة ، على ابي سعيد الخدري نعوده، قال: فقال لنا ابو سعيد : اخبرنا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" إن الملائكة لا تدخل بيتا فيه تماثيل او صورة" ، يشك إسحاق ايهما قال ابو سعيد.
Rafi bin Ishaq narrates: Abdullah bin Abu Talha and I went to visit Sayyiduna Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) to inquire about his health. Sayyiduna Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) told us: The Messenger of Allah informed us of this: "Indeed, the angels do not enter a house in which there are statues or pictures." This doubt is from the narrator named Ishaq, as to which of the two words Sayyiduna Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) actually mentioned.
