Chapter on Images and Image-makers – Angels do not enter places with images or dogs
Hadith Number: 5855
اخبرنا ابن قتيبة ، حدثنا حرملة بن يحيى ، حدثنا ابن وهب ، حدثنا يونس ، عن ابن شهاب ، عن عبيد الله بن عبد الله ، انه سمع ابن عباس ، يقول: سمعت ابا طلحة ، يقول: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " لا تدخل الملائكة بيتا فيه كلب ولا صورة" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: Sayyiduna Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: "The angels do not enter a house in which there is a dog or a picture."
