Chapter on Tribulations – Warning against handing a drawn sword to a fellow Muslim
Hadith Number: 5943
اخبرنا عبد الله بن احمد بن موسى ، قال: حدثنا محمد بن معمر ، قال: حدثنا ابو عاصم ، عن ابن جريج ، قال: اخبرني ابو الزبير ، قال: سمعت جابرا ، يقول: إن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم مر بقوم يتعاطون سيفا بينهم مسلولا، فقال:" الم ازجركم عن هذا ليغمده، ثم يناوله اخاه" .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Once the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by some people who had drawn swords against each other, so the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Did I not forbid you from this? Sheathe them and meet your brother."
