كِتَابُ الدِّيَاتِ
Book of Blood Money
ذكر الإخبار باستواء الأصابع عند قطعها في الحكم بأن في كل واحدة منها عشرا من الإبل-
All fingers are equal in blood money—ten camels for each
Hadith Number: 6013
اخبرنا ابو يعلى ، حدثنا علي بن الجعد ، اخبرنا شعبة ، عن غالب التمار ، قال: سمعت مسروق بن اوس يحدث، انه سمع ابا موسى الاشعري ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " الاصابع سواء"، قلت: عشر عشر؟ قال:" نعم" .
Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "The blood money for all fingers is equal." I asked: "Ten, ten (camels)?" The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Yes."
