كِتَابُ الطِّبِّ
Book of Medicine
ذكر الأمر بالتداوي إذ الله جل وعلا لم يخلق داء إلا خلق له دواء خلا شيئين-
Command to seek treatment, for Allah created a cure for every disease except two
Hadith Number: 6061
اخبرنا الفضل بن الحباب الجمحي ، حدثنا إبراهيم بن بشار الرمادي ، حدثنا سفيان ، حدثنا زياد بن علاقة ، سمع اسامة بن شريك ، يقول: شهدت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم والاعراب يسالونه: يا رسول الله، هل علينا جناح في كذا؟ مرتين، فقال: " عباد الله، وضع الله الحرج، إلا امرؤ اقترض من عرض اخيه شيئا، فذلك الذي حرج"، قالوا: يا رسول الله، فهل علينا جناح ان نتداوى؟ فقال:" تداووا عباد الله، فإن الله لم يضع داء إلا وضع له دواء"، قالوا: يا رسول الله، فما خير ما اعطي العبد؟ قال:" خلق حسن" ، قال سفيان: ما على وجه الارض اليوم إسناد اجود من هذا.
Sayyiduna Usamah bin Sharik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I was present with the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) when the Bedouins were asking him questions, saying: "Will there be any sin upon us if we do this?" They asked this twice. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "O servants of Allah! Allah has removed sin except for the one who attacks the honor of his brother; such a person will be guilty of sin." The people asked: "O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! If we use medicine, will there be any sin upon us?" The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "O servants of Allah! Use medicine, for Allah has created a cure for every disease He has created." They asked: "O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), what is the best thing that a servant has been given?" The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Good character." Sufyan says: "Today, there is no better chain of narration on the face of the earth than this."
