باب بدء الخلق - ذكر البيان بأن كتبة الله الكتاب الذي ذكرناه كتبه بيده-
Section on the Beginning of Creation - Allah wrote the Book with His own hand
Hadith Number: 6145
اخبرنا اخبرنا إسماعيل بن داود بن وردان بمصر، قال: حدثنا عيسى بن حماد ، قال: انبانا الليث ، عن ابن عجلان ، عن ابيه ، عن ابي هريرة ، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم انه قال:" حين خلق الله الخلق، كتب بيده على نفسه الرحمة: ان رحمتي غلبت غضبى" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "When Allah Almighty created the creation, He made mercy obligatory upon Himself with His hand of mercy (and wrote this): 'Indeed, My mercy has prevailed over My wrath.'"
