Sayyiduna Uthman Ghani’s (may Allah be pleased with him) son, Amr, narrates: Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) said to me: O my son, if you ever become responsible for any matter of the Muslims (i.e., government or official position), then honor the Quraysh, because I heard the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say this:“Whoever dishonors the Quraysh, Allah Almighty will make him suffer humiliation.”
