Sahih Ibn Hibban
كِتَابُ إِخْبَارِهِ ﷺ عَنْ مَنَاقِبِ الصَّحَابَةِ رِجَالِهِمْ وَنِسَائِهِمْ بِذِكْرِ أَسْمَائِهِمْ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Book of the Prophet’s ﷺ Reports on the Virtues of the Companions, Men and Women, by Name
ذكر البيان بأن أبا بكر الصديق رضي الله عنه حيث صحب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم في الغار لم يكن معهما من البشر ثالث-
Hadith Number: 6869
اخبرنا عبد الله بن محمد الازدي ، حدثنا إسحاق بن إبراهيم ، اخبرنا عفان ، حدثنا همام ، عن ثابت ، عن انس بن مالك ، عن ابي بكر ، قال: قلت للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم لو ان احدهم نظر تحت قدمه لابصرنا من تحت قدمه، فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " ما ظنك باثنين الله ثالثهما؟" .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates the statement of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him): I submitted to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): If any one of them (the polytheists) looks down at his feet, he will see us beneath his feet. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: What do you think about two people with whom the third is Allah, the Exalted?
