Sahih Ibn Hibban
كِتَابُ إِخْبَارِهِ ﷺ عَنْ مَنَاقِبِ الصَّحَابَةِ رِجَالِهِمْ وَنِسَائِهِمْ بِذِكْرِ أَسْمَائِهِمْ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

ذكر إثبات الشهادة لعثمان بن عفان رضوان الله عليه وقد فعل-
Hadith Number: 6908
اخبرنا الفضل بن الحباب الجمحي ، حدثنا علي بن المديني ، حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد ، حدثنا سعيد ، حدثنا قتادة ، ان انس بن مالك ، حدثهم ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم صعد احدا، فتبعه ابو بكر وعمر وعثمان، فرجف بهم، فقال: " اثبت، نبي، وصديق، وشهيدان" .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Once the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) climbed Mount Uhud, and with him climbed Sayyiduna Abu Bakr, Sayyiduna Umar, and Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with them all). Then Uhud began to shake. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Remain still, for upon you are a Prophet, a Siddiq, and two martyrs.
