ذكر مغفرة الله جل وعلا لعثمان بن عفان رضي الله عنه بتسبيله رومة-
Hadith Number: 6920
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، حدثنا ابو بكر بن ابي شيبة ، حدثنا ابن إدريس ، عن حصين ، عن عمرو بن جاوان ، عن الاحنف بن قيس ، قال: قدمنا المدينة فجاء عثمان ، فقيل: هذا عثمان، وعليه ملية له صفراء قد قنع بها راسه، قال: ها هنا علي؟ قالوا: نعم، قال: ها هنا طلحة؟ قالوا: نعم، قال: انشدكم بالله الذي لا إله إلا هو، اتعلمون ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " من ابتاع مربد بني فلان غفر الله له، فابتعته بعشرين الفا او خمسة وعشرين الفا؟ فاتيت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقلت له: قد ابتعته، فقال: اجعله في مسجدنا، واجره لك؟ قال: فقالوا: اللهم نعم، قال: فقال: انشدكم بالله الذي لا إله إلا هو، اتعلمون ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: من يبتاع رومة غفر الله له، فابتعتها بكذا وكذا، ثم اتيته، فقلت: قد ابتعتها، فقال: اجعلها سقاية للمسلمين، واجرها لك؟ قال: فقالوا: اللهم نعم، قال: انشدكم بالله الذي لا إله إلا هو، اتعلمون ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم نظر في وجوه القوم، فقال: من جهز هؤلاء غفر الله له يعني جيش العسرة، فجهزتهم حتى لم يفقدوا عقالا ولا خطاما؟ قالوا: اللهم نعم، قال: اللهم اشهد، ثلاثا" .
Ahnaf bin Qais narrates: We came to Madinah Munawwarah. Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) arrived. It was said: Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) has arrived. He was wearing a yellow sheet and had covered his head with it. He inquired: Is Ali here? The people replied: Yes. He inquired: Is Talha here? The people replied: Yes. He said: I ask you by the name of Allah, besides whom there is no deity, do you know that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Who will buy the land of Banu so-and-so, Allah will forgive him? So I bought it for twenty thousand (the narrator is doubtful, perhaps these are the words) or twenty-five thousand, then I presented myself to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: I have bought it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Give it for our mosque, you will get its reward. The narrator says: So those gentlemen replied: By Allah! It is so. Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I ask you by the name of Allah, besides whom there is no deity, do you know that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Who will buy (the well named Rumah), Allah will forgive him? So I bought it for such and such amount, then I presented myself to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: I have bought it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Endow it for the Muslims, you will get its reward.
The narrator says: So those people replied: By Allah! It is so. Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I ask you by the name of Allah, besides whom there is no deity, do you know that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw the condition of the people and said: Who will equip these people, Allah will forgive him? He meant the expedition of Tabuk. (Sayyiduna Uthman, may Allah be pleased with him, said:) So I equipped those people, until I provided them with ropes and reins. So the people replied: By Allah! It is so. Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Allah, bear witness. He said this three times.
