Sahih Ibn Hibban
كِتَابُ إِخْبَارِهِ ﷺ عَنْ مَنَاقِبِ الصَّحَابَةِ رِجَالِهِمْ وَنِسَائِهِمْ بِذِكْرِ أَسْمَائِهِمْ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

ذكر البيان بأن الزبير بن العوام كان حواري المصطفى صلى الله عليه وسلم-
Hadith Number: 6985
اخبرنا محمد بن المعافى العابد بصيدا، اخبرنا عيسى بن حماد بن زغبة ، اخبرنا الليث بن سعد ، عن هشام بن عروة ، عن محمد بن المنكدر ، عن جابر بن عبد الله ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال يوم الخندق: من رجل ياتينا بخبر بني قريظة؟ فقال الزبير: انا، فذهب على فرسه، فجاء بخبرهم، ثم قال الثانية، فقال الزبير: انا، ثم قال الثالثة، فقال الزبير: انا، فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لكل نبي حواري، وحواري الزبير بن العوام" .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: On the day of the Battle of the Trench, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Who will bring me information about Banu Qurayza? Sayyiduna Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I will. Then he mounted his horse and brought information about them. Then the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said this a second time, so Sayyiduna Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I will. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said this a third time, so Sayyiduna Zubair (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I will. Then the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Every prophet has a disciple, and my disciple is Zubair bin Al-Awwam.
