كِتَابُ إِخْبَارِهِ ﷺ عَنْ مَنَاقِبِ الصَّحَابَةِ رِجَالِهِمْ وَنِسَائِهِمْ بِذِكْرِ أَسْمَائِهِمْ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

ذكر جمع المصطفى صلى الله عليه وسلم أبويه لسعد بن أبي وقاص-
Hadith Number: 6988
اخبرنا الفضل بن الحباب ، حدثنا إبراهيم بن بشار ، حدثنا سفيان ، عن يحيى بن سعيد ، عن سعيد بن المسيب ، عن علي بن ابي طالب رضي الله عنه. وسفيان ، عن مسعر ، عن سعد بن إبراهيم ، عن عبد الله بن شداد ، عن علي ، قال:" ما سمعت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم جمع ابويه لاحد إلا لسعد، فإنه قال له يوم احد: ارم فداك ابي وامي" .
Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I have never heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) combine his parents for anyone except Sayyiduna Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him), because on the day of the Battle of Uhud, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: Shoot (arrows), may my parents be sacrificed for you.
