Sahih Ibn Hibban
كِتَابُ إِخْبَارِهِ ﷺ عَنْ مَنَاقِبِ الصَّحَابَةِ رِجَالِهِمْ وَنِسَائِهِمْ بِذِكْرِ أَسْمَائِهِمْ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

ذكر إثبات الجنة لسعد بن أبي وقاص-
Hadith Number: 6991
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، حدثنا محمد بن المثنى ، حدثنا عبد الله بن عيسى الرقاشي ، حدثنا ايوب ، عن نافع ، عن ابن عمر ، قال: كنا قعودا عند رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " يدخل عليكم من ذا الباب رجل من اهل الجنة، قال: وليس منا احد إلا وهو يتمنى ان يكون من اهل بيته، فإذا سعد بن ابي وقاص قد طلع" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: We were sitting with the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) when he said: "A man will come to you through this door who will be from among the people of Paradise." The narrator says: Each one of us wished that the person entering would be from his own family, then Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) arrived.
