Sahih Ibn Hibban
كِتَابُ إِخْبَارِهِ ﷺ عَنْ مَنَاقِبِ الصَّحَابَةِ رِجَالِهِمْ وَنِسَائِهِمْ بِذِكْرِ أَسْمَائِهِمْ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

ذكر البيان بأن أبا عبيدة بن الجراح كان من أحب الرجال إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بعد أبي بكر وعمر-
Hadith Number: 6998
اخبرنا احمد بن علي بن المثنى ، حدثنا هدبة بن خالد القيسي ، حدثنا حماد بن سلمة ، عن سعيد الجريري ، عن عبد الله بن شقيق ، عن عمرو بن العاص ، قال: قيل: يا رسول الله " اي الناس احب إليك؟ قال: عائشة، قيل: من الرجال؟ قال: ابو بكر، قيل: ثم من؟ قال: عمر، قيل: ثم من؟ قال: ابو عبيدة بن الجراح" .
Sayyiduna Amr bin Al-Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: It was asked, "O Messenger of Allah! Who is the most beloved to you among the people?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "Aisha." It was asked, "Among the men, who?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "Abu Bakr." Then it was asked, "Then who?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "Umar." It was asked, "Then who?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "Abu Ubaidah bin Jarrah."
