Sahih Ibn Hibban
كِتَابُ إِخْبَارِهِ ﷺ عَنْ مَنَاقِبِ الصَّحَابَةِ رِجَالِهِمْ وَنِسَائِهِمْ بِذِكْرِ أَسْمَائِهِمْ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

ذكر استبشار العرش وارتياحه لوفاة سعد بن معاذ-
Hadith Number: 7029
اخبرنا عمران بن موسى السختياني ، حدثنا محفوظ بن ابي توبة ، ومحمد بن عبد الله العصار ، قالا: حدثنا عبد الرزاق ، اخبرنا ابن جريج ، اخبرني ابو الزبير ، انه سمع جابر بن عبد الله ، يقول: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وجنازة سعد بن معاذ بين ايديهم: " اهتز لها عرش الرحمن" ، قال ابو حاتم: قوله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" اهتز لها عرش الرحمن"، يريد به: استبشر وارتاح، كقول الله جل وعلا: فإذا انزلنا عليها الماء اهتزت وربت سورة الحج آية 5، يريد به: ارتاحت واخضرت.
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said—while at that time the funeral of Sayyiduna Sa’d bin Mu’adh (may Allah be pleased with him) was placed before the people—the Prophet said: For him, the Throne of the Most Merciful has shaken.
(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) The statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): For him, the Throne of the Most Merciful has shaken, by this he meant that he has received glad tidings and comfort. Its example is the saying of Allah Almighty:“When We send Our mercy upon it, it stirs and flourishes.”By this is meant that it receives comfort and becomes lush.
