ذكر عمرو بن العاص السهمي رضي الله عنه - ذكر خبر وهم في تأويله من لم يحكم صناعة الحديث-
Hadith Number: 7106
اخبرنا ابن خزيمة ، حدثنا علي بن حجر السعدي ، حدثنا علي بن مسهر ، عن إسماعيل ، عن قيس ، عن عمرو بن العاص ، قال: قلت: يا رسول الله، اي الناس احب إليك؟ قال:" عائشة"، فقلت: إني لست اعني النساء إنما اعنى الرجال، فقال:" ابو بكر" ، او قال:" ابوها".
Sayyiduna Amr bin Al-Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I asked, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), who is the most beloved to you?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "Aisha." I said, "I do not mean from among your wives; I mean from among the men." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied, "Abu Bakr." (The narrator is in doubt, perhaps these are the words:) The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Her father."
