Sahih Ibn Hibban

ذكر عمرو بن العاص السهمي رضي الله عنه - ذكر كثرة رواية أبي هريرة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم-
Hadith Number: 7152
اخبرنا اخبرنا عبد الله بن محمد الازدي ، حدثنا إسحاق بن إبراهيم ، اخبرنا سفيان ، عن عمرو بن دينار ، عن وهب بن منبه ، عن اخيه ، قال: سمعت ابا هريرة ، يقول:" ما من اصحاب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم اكثر حديثا مني إلا عبد الله بن عمرو، فإنه كان يكتب، وكنت لا اكتب" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: None among the companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) knows more hadiths than I do. Only the case of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) is different because he used to write (the hadiths) down, and I did not write.
