Sahih Ibn Hibban
كِتَابُ إِخْبَارِهِ ﷺ عَنْ مَنَاقِبِ الصَّحَابَةِ رِجَالِهِمْ وَنِسَائِهِمْ بِذِكْرِ أَسْمَائِهِمْ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

ذكر عمرو بن العاص السهمي رضي الله عنه - ذكر الخبر المدحض قول من زعم أن سماك بن حرب لم يسمع هذا الخبر من جابر بن سمرة-
Hadith Number: 7158
اخبرنا سليمان بن الحسن العطار بالبصرة، حدثنا عبيد الله بن معاذ بن معاذ ، حدثنا ابي ، حدثنا شعبة ، عن سماك ، سمع جابر بن سمرة ، قال: صلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم على ابي الدحداح ونحن شهود، فاتي النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بفرس فركبه، فجعل يتوقص به ونحن نسعى حوله، فقال صلى الله عليه وسلم: " كم من عذق لابي الدحداح معلق في الجنة ".
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) performed the funeral prayer of Sayyiduna Abu Dardaah. We were present there at that time. A horse was brought for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he mounted it. He made it run fast, so we began to run around him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: How many clusters of (fruits) have been hung for Abu Dardaah in Paradise.
