Sahih Ibn Hibban
كِتَابُ إِخْبَارِهِ ﷺ عَنْ مَنَاقِبِ الصَّحَابَةِ رِجَالِهِمْ وَنِسَائِهِمْ بِذِكْرِ أَسْمَائِهِمْ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

باب فضل الصحابة والتابعين رضي الله عنهم - ذكر البيان بأن قول أنس أراد أن يكتب أن يقطع البحرين للأنصار-
Hadith Number: 7276
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، حدثنا محمد بن عبيد بن حساب ، حدثنا حماد بن زيد ، عن يحيى بن سعيد الانصاري ، عن انس بن مالك : ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم اقطع الانصار البحرين، او قال: طائفة منها، فقالوا: لا، حتى تقطع إخواننا من المهاجرين مثل الذي اقطعتنا، قال:" اما إنكم ستلقون بعدي اثرة، فاصبروا حتى تلقوني" .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) granted estates in Bahrain to the Ansar (the narrator is unsure, perhaps these are the words:) granted estates to some individuals from the Ansar. They said: No, not until you grant our Muhajir brothers the same as you have granted us. We will not accept it until then. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: After me, you will face preferential treatment (given to others over you), so be patient until you meet me.
