Sahih Ibn Hibban
كِتَابُ إِخْبَارِهِ ﷺ عَنْ مَنَاقِبِ الصَّحَابَةِ رِجَالِهِمْ وَنِسَائِهِمْ بِذِكْرِ أَسْمَائِهِمْ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Book of the Prophet’s ﷺ Reports on the Virtues of the Companions, Men and Women, by Name
باب إخباره صلى الله عليه وسلم عن البعث وأحوال الناس في ذلك اليوم - ذكر الإخبار عن سؤال الرب جل وعلا عبده في القيامة عن تمكينه من الشهوات في الدنيا-
Hadith Number: 7367
اخبرنا اخبرنا الحسين بن احمد بن بسطام بالابلة، قال: حدثنا محمد بن ميمون الخياط ، قال: حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة ، عن سهيل بن ابي صالح ، عن ابيه ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" ليلقين احدكم ربه يوم القيامة، فيقول له: الم اسخر لك الخيل والإبل؟ الم اذرك تراس وتربع؟ الم ازوجك فلانة خطبها الخطاب، فمنعتهم وزوجتك؟ ".
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Surely, each one of you will be presented before his Lord on the Day of Resurrection, and the Lord will say to him: Did I not subjugate horses and camels for you? Did I not make you affluent? Did I not marry you to such-and-such woman, to whom many people had sent marriage proposals, but I did not let them marry her and arranged your marriage with her?"
