Sahih Ibn Hibban
كِتَابُ إِخْبَارِهِ ﷺ عَنْ مَنَاقِبِ الصَّحَابَةِ رِجَالِهِمْ وَنِسَائِهِمْ بِذِكْرِ أَسْمَائِهِمْ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Book of the Prophet’s ﷺ Reports on the Virtues of the Companions, Men and Women, by Name
باب إخباره صلى الله عليه وسلم عن البعث وأحوال الناس في ذلك اليوم - ذكر وصف العرض الذي يكون في القيامة لمن لم يناقش على أعماله-
Hadith Number: 7372
اخبرنا الفضل بن الحباب الجمحي ، قال: حدثنا علي بن المديني ، قال: حدثنا جرير ، عن محمد بن إسحاق ، عن عبد الواحد بن حمزة ، عن عباد بن عبد الله بن الزبير ، عن عائشة ، قالت: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول:" اللهم حاسبني حسابا يسيرا"، قالت: قلت: يا رسول الله، ما الحساب اليسير؟ قال:" ان ينظر في سيئاته ويتجاوز له عنها، إنه من نوقش الحساب يومئذ هلك، وكل ما يصيب المؤمن يكفر عنه من سيئاته، حتى الشوكة تشوكه" .
Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) saying, "O Allah, take an easy account from me." Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I asked, "O Messenger of Allah! What is meant by an easy account?" The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "(It means) that the Lord looks at a person's book of deeds and then forgives his sins, because on that day, whoever is strictly taken to account will be doomed." Whatever calamity befalls a believer, it erases his sins, even if it is a thorn that pricks him (that too erases his sins)."
