Sahih Ibn Hibban
كِتَابُ إِخْبَارِهِ ﷺ عَنْ مَنَاقِبِ الصَّحَابَةِ رِجَالِهِمْ وَنِسَائِهِمْ بِذِكْرِ أَسْمَائِهِمْ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Book of the Prophet’s ﷺ Reports on the Virtues of the Companions, Men and Women, by Name
باب وصف الجنة وأهلها - ذكر خبر قد يوهم غير المتبحر في صناعة العلم أنه مضاد لخبر معاوية بن حيدة الذي ذكرناه-
Hadith Number: 7389
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، قال: حدثنا ابو بكر بن ابي شيبة ، قال: حدثنا محمد بن بشر ، قال: حدثنا ابو حيان ، عن ابي زرعة بن عمرو بن جرير ، عن ابي هريرة ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال:" والذي نفسي بيده، إن ما بين المصراعين من مصاريع الجنة لكما بين مكة وهجر، او كما بين مكة وبصرى" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "By Him in Whose Hand is my soul, the distance between the two gates of Paradise is as much as the distance between Makkah and Hajar. (The narrator is in doubt, perhaps these are the words:) as much as the distance between Makkah and Busra."
