Sahih Ibn Hibban
كِتَابُ إِخْبَارِهِ ﷺ عَنْ مَنَاقِبِ الصَّحَابَةِ رِجَالِهِمْ وَنِسَائِهِمْ بِذِكْرِ أَسْمَائِهِمْ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Book of the Prophet’s ﷺ Reports on the Virtues of the Companions, Men and Women, by Name
باب صفة النار وأهلها - ذكر وصف غلظ الكافر في النار نعوذ بالله منها-
Hadith Number: 7486
اخبرنا احمد بن علي بن المثنى ، قال: حدثنا ابو بكر بن ابي شيبة ، قال: حدثنا عبيد الله بن موسى ، حدثنا شيبان ، عن الاعمش، عن ابي صالح ، عن ابي هريرة ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم:" غلظ الكافر اثنان واربعون ذراعا بذراع الجبار، وضرسه مثل احد" ، الجبار: ملك باليمن، يقال له: الجبار.
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The thickness of the disbeliever will be forty-two cubits, according to the cubit of the Jabbar, and his height will be like the mountain of Uhud." Jabbar was the ruler of Yemen and was called Jabbar.
