Hazrat Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection, the whole earth will become like a single loaf of bread, which Allah, the Exalted, will turn over with His hand for the hospitality of the people of Paradise, just as you turn bread over on a dining cloth." Then a Jew came and said, "Abu al-Qasim! May the Most Merciful bless you. Shall I inform you about the first feast of the people of Paradise on the Day of Resurrection?" The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "Why not." So he (the Jew) said (the same thing): "The whole earth will become like a single loaf of bread," just as the Prophet (peace be upon him) had said. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) looked towards us and smiled so that his front teeth became visible. Then (the Jew) asked, "Shall I inform you about its condiment?" (Then he himself) said, "Its condiment will be balam and nun." The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked, "What is that?" He said, "The ox and the fish, of whose liver's extra fatty part seventy thousand people will eat."

Hadith Number: 1780
Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says that (once) I was walking with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in the ruins of Madinah, and he was walking with the support of a date-palm stick. Some Jews happened to pass by (from there). One of them said to another, "Ask him about the soul." One of them said, "Do not ask, lest he says something that you dislike." (But) some of them insisted, "We will certainly ask." Then one person stood up and said, "O Abu al-Qasim (peace and blessings be upon him)! What is the soul?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) remained silent. I thought to myself that revelation was coming to him, so I stood up. When that state (of revelation) was lifted from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he recited (the verse of the Qur'an that had been revealed at that time): "(O Prophet!) They ask you concerning the soul. Say: The soul is by the command of my Lord, and you have been given only a little knowledge." (Therefore, you cannot understand the reality of the soul.)

Hazrat Khabbab bin Al-Aratt (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that in the days of ignorance, I used to work as a blacksmith. ‘As bin Wa’il (a disbeliever) owed me some money. One day I went to him to demand my debt. He said,“I will not pay your debt until you deny Muhammad (peace be upon him).”I replied,“I will not deny him until Allah takes your soul, then you are resurrected.”He said,“Then give me respite until I die, then I am resurrected, and I am given wealth and children; at that time I will pay your debt.”Upon this, the verse was revealed:“Have you seen the one who disbelieved in Our verses and said, ‘I will surely be given wealth and children (in the Hereafter)?’ Has he looked into the unseen, or has he taken a promise from the Most Merciful?”

Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that Abu Jahl said, "O Allah! If this word is truly from You, then rain down stones upon us from the sky or bring upon us some other punishment." Upon this, the following verse was revealed: "But Allah would not punish them while you are among them, nor will Allah punish them while they seek forgiveness. But why should Allah not punish them while they hinder people from Al-Masjid Al-Haram, and they are not its guardians? Its guardians are only the righteous, but most of them do not know." The Smoke

Hadith Number: 1783
Hazrat Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that this (famine) occurred because when the Quraysh persisted in polytheism instead of accepting the invitation of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he prayed for a famine upon them like that which occurred in the time of Yusuf (peace be upon him). Consequently, the famine reached such a point that people began to eat bones. People would look up towards the sky, but due to the severity of hunger and starvation, they could see nothing but smoke. Regarding this, Allah the Exalted revealed this verse: "So wait for the Day when the sky will bring forth a visible smoke, which will envelop the people. This will be a painful punishment." It is narrated that then a person came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Pray for rain for the tribe of Mudar, for they have been destroyed." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "You ask me to pray for Mudar? You are very bold." Eventually, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed for them, and it rained. Upon this, the verse "Indeed, you will return (to disbelief)" was revealed (meaning, although you have promised faith, you will return to disbelief). Thus, when prosperity returned among them, they reverted to polytheism (and forgot their promise of faith). Upon this, Allah the Exalted revealed this verse: "On the Day when We will seize with the greatest seizure, We will indeed take full retribution." It is narrated that this verse refers to the Battle of Badr.
