Sahih Bukhari
بَابُ مَا يُكْرَهُ مِنِ اتِّخَاذِ الْمَسَاجِدِ عَلَى الْقُبُورِ:
Chapter. What is disliked of establishing places for worship (mosques) over the graves.
Hadith Number: Q1330
ولما مات الحسن بن الحسن بن علي رضي الله عنهم ضربت امراته القبة على قبره سنة , ثم رفعت فسمعوا صائحا , يقول: الا هل وجدوا ما فقدوا؟ فاجابه الآخر بل يئسوا فانقلبوا.
And when Hasan bin Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with them) passed away, his wife (Fatimah bint Husayn) set up a tent at his grave for a year. Finally, when the tent was removed, people heard a voice: "Did those who lost (their beloved) find them?" Another replied, "No, rather they returned in despair."
Hadith Number: 1330
حدثنا عبيد الله بن موسى، عن شيبان، عن هلال هو الوزان، عن عروة، عن عائشة رضي الله عنها، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال في مرضه الذي مات فيه:" لعن الله اليهود، والنصارى اتخذوا قبور انبيائهم مسجدا"، قالت: ولولا ذلك لابرزوا قبره غير اني اخشى ان يتخذ مسجدا.
Narrated `Urwa: Aisha said, "The Prophet in his fatal illness said, 'Allah cursed the Jews and the Christians because they took the graves of their Prophets as places for praying."' Aisha added, "Had it not been for that, the grave of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) would have been made prominent but I am afraid it might be taken (as a) place for praying.

بَابُ الصَّلاَةِ عَلَى النُّفَسَاءِ إِذَا مَاتَتْ فِي نِفَاسِهَا:
Chapter. The offering of the funeral Salat (prayer) of a woman who died during the delivery (of a child).
Hadith Number: 1331
حدثنا مسدد، حدثنا يزيد بن زريع، حدثنا حسين، حدثنا عبد الله بن بريدة , عن سمرة رضي الله عنه , قال:" صليت وراء النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم على امراة ماتت في نفاسها فقام عليها وسطها".
Narrated Samura bin Jundab: I offered the funeral prayer behind the Prophet for a woman who had died during childbirth and he stood up by the middle of the coffin.

بَابُ أَيْنَ يَقُومُ مِنَ الْمَرْأَةِ وَالرَّجُلِ:
Chapter. Where should the Imam stand while leading the funeral prayer of a female or a male?
Hadith Number: 1332
حدثنا عمران بن ميسرة، حدثنا عبد الوارث، حدثنا حسين، عن ابن بريدة، حدثنا سمرة بن جندب رضي الله عنه , قال:" صليت وراء النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم على امراة ماتت في نفاسها فقام عليها وسطها".

بَابُ التَّكْبِيرِ عَلَى الْجَنَازَةِ أَرْبَعًا:
Chapter. There are four Takbir in the funeral prayers.
Hadith Number: Q1333
وقال حميد صلى بنا انس رضي الله عنه , فكبر ثلاثا , ثم سلم فقيل له: فاستقبل القبلة , ثم كبر الرابعة ثم سلم.
And Humaid at-Tawil narrated that Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) led us in prayer, and he said three takbirs, then gave salam. The people reminded him about it, so he turned again towards the qiblah and said the fourth takbir, then gave salam.
Hadith Number: 1333
حدثنا عبد الله بن يوسف، اخبرنا مالك، عن ابن شهاب، عن سعيد بن المسيب، عن ابي هريرة رضي الله عنه،" ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم نعى النجاشي في اليوم الذي مات فيه، وخرج بهم إلى المصلى فصف بهم وكبر عليه اربع تكبيرات".
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle informed about the news of the death of An-Najash on the day he died. He went out with us to the Musalla and we aligned in rows and he said four Takbirs for An-Najashi's funeral prayer.

Hadith Number: 1334
حدثنا محمد بن سنان، حدثنا سليم بن حيان، حدثنا سعيد بن ميناء، عن جابر رضي الله عنه،" ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم صلى على اصحمة النجاشي فكبر اربعا"، وقال يزيد بن هارون: عن سليم اصحمة، وتابعه عبد الصمد.
Narrated Jabir: The Prophet offered the funeral prayer of As-Hama An-Najash and said four Takbir.

بَابُ قِرَاءَةِ فَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ عَلَى الْجَنَازَةِ:
Chapter. The recitation of Surat-al-Fatiha in the funeral Salat.
Hadith Number: Q1335
وقال الحسن يقرا على الطفل بفاتحة الكتاب , ويقول: اللهم اجعله لنا فرطا وسلفا واجرا.
And Imam Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) said that in the funeral prayer of a child, Surah al-Fatihah should be recited first, then this supplication should be recited: «اللهم اجعله لنا فرطا وسلفا وأجرا» O Allah! Make this child our provision, one who goes ahead of us, and a means of reward for us.
Hadith Number: 1335
حدثنا محمد بن بشار , حدثنا غندر، حدثنا شعبة، عن سعد، عن طلحة , قال: صليت خلف ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما، ح حدثنا محمد بن كثير، اخبرنا سفيان، عن سعد بن إبراهيم، عن طلحة بن عبد الله بن عوف , قال:" صليت خلف ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما على جنازة، فقرا بفاتحة الكتاب , قال: ليعلموا انها سنة.
Narrated Talha bin `Abdullah bin `Auf: I offered the funeral prayer behind Ibn `Abbas and he recited Al-Fatiha and said, "You should know that it (i.e. recitation of Al-Fatiha) is the tradition of the Prophet Muhammad.

بَابُ الصَّلاَةِ عَلَى الْقَبْرِ بَعْدَ مَا يُدْفَنُ:
Chapter. To offer the (funeral) Salat (prayer) on the grave after the burial of the deceased.
Hadith Number: 1336
حدثنا حجاج بن منهال، حدثنا شعبة , قال: حدثني سليمان الشيباني , قال: سمعت الشعبي , قال:" اخبرني من مر مع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم على قبر منبوذ فامهم وصلوا خلفه"، قلت: من حدثك هذا يا ابا عمرو؟ قال: ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما.
Narrated Sulaiman Ash-Shaibani: I heard Ash-Shu`bi saying, "I was told by a man who had passed with the Prophet (p.b.u.h) by a grave that was separate from the other graves that he (the Prophet) led them in the prayer and they prayed behind him." I said, "O Abu `Amr! Who narrated that to you?" He replied, "Ibn `Abbas."
