Abu Ishaq says that a person asked Sayyiduna Bara bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him): "Was the radiant face of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) shining like a sword?" He replied: "No, rather it was shining like the moon."

Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the blessed complexion of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was so white and radiant as if it had been molded from silver, and his blessed hair was curly (wavy).

It is narrated from Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:“(On the night of Mi’raj) the noble Prophets were presented before me, so I saw that Musa (peace be upon him) was a lean, thin man, resembling the people of the tribe of Shanu’ah. And I saw ‘Isa (peace be upon him), and among all the people I have seen, in appearance he most resembled ‘Urwah bin Mas’ud. And I saw Ibrahim (peace be upon him), and among all the people I have seen, in appearance he most resembled your master (peace and blessings be upon him). And I saw Jibril (peace be upon him), and among all the people I have seen, in my view, he most resembled Dihyah (al-Kalbi).”

Saeed (bin Iyas) Al-Jurayri narrates: I heard from Abu Al-Tufail, who said: I have seen the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and now there is no one left on the face of the earth except me who has seen him (peace be upon him). (Saeed says) I asked: Please describe the blessed appearance of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) for me. He said: He (peace be upon him) was of a fair complexion, handsome, and moderate in all aspects of his creation.

Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that there was a slight gap between the Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) incisors and canines, and when he spoke, it appeared as if a light, like radiance, was emanating from between his two teeth.
