Allah’s saying:“Do not associate partners with Allah while you know.”(Surah Baqarah: 22)
Narrated Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him): I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "Which sin is the greatest in the sight of Allah?" He said, "That you set up a partner with Allah while He created you." I said, "Indeed, that is a great sin." I asked, "Then which one after that?" He (peace be upon him) said, "That you kill your child out of fear that you will have to feed him." I asked, "Then which one after that?" He said, "That you commit adultery with your neighbor's wife."

Allah’s saying:“Whatever verse We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, We bring a better one or similar.”(Surah Baqarah: 106)
Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said that among all of us, Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) is the greatest reciter, and Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) is the best judge, and we do not accept one statement of Sayyiduna Ubayy (may Allah be pleased with him). He says that I will not abandon the recitation of any verse of the Qur'an which I heard from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and indeed in the Qur'an Allah Himself says: "Whatever verse We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, We bring a better one or similar to it..." (Surah Al-Baqarah: 118)

Allah’s saying:“They say Allah has a child. Exalted is He.”(Surah Baqarah: 116)
Narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty says: 'The children of Adam deny Me, and it is not appropriate for them to do so, and the children of Adam abuse Me, and it is not fitting for them to do so. Their denial is that they say I will not resurrect them as I created them at first, and their abuse is that they say I have a child, whereas I am exalted and pure from taking a wife or a child (all are My servants and slaves).' Allah’s saying:“Take the station of Abraham as a place of prayer.”(Surah Baqarah: 125)
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said that (in my opinion) in three matters my view coincided with Allah’s command, or he said: Allah agreed with me in three matters. (First is that) I submitted to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): If you perform prayer at the Maqam Ibrahim (after Tawaf), it would be better. (In accordance with this, Allah revealed the verse:“Take the Maqam Ibrahim as a place of prayer.”) And (second is that) I submitted: O Messenger of Allah! Good and bad people come to you, if you order the Mothers of the Believers (your pure wives) to observe veiling, it would be good. So, in accordance with this, Allah revealed the verse of Hijab (“O Prophet! Say to your wives...”etc.). (The third is that) when I found out that you (peace and blessings be upon him) were angry with some of your wives, I went to them and said: Refrain (from what you are doing), otherwise Allah will give His Messenger better wives in exchange for you. When I came to one of your wives (Umm Salamah, may Allah be pleased with her), she said:“O Umar! Can the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) not advise his wives, that you have come to advise?”At that time (in accordance with what I said), Allah revealed this verse:“If he (the Prophet) divorces you, his Lord will soon give him, in exchange for you, wives better than you, who are Muslims...”(Surah At-Tahrim: 5)

Allah’s saying:“Say: We believe in Allah and what was revealed to us...”(Surah Baqarah: 136)
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the People of the Book, that is, the Jews, used to recite the Torah in the Hebrew language and would translate it into Arabic for the Muslims. So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not completely believe what they say (because they have altered the Torah), nor completely deny it (because perhaps some verses remain unaltered). Rather, say in general: 'Say: We believe in Allah and in what has been revealed to us.'"

Allah’s saying:“Thus We made you a just nation...”(Surah Baqarah: 143)
Narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection, Nuh (peace be upon him) will be called. He will say, 'I am present, O my Lord, I will obey Your command.' Allah Almighty will say, 'Did you convey Our commands to the people?' He will say, 'Yes.' Then his nation will be asked, 'Did Nuh (peace be upon him) convey My command to you (or not)?' They will say, 'No warner (prophet) came to us.' Nuh (peace be upon him) will be asked, 'Do you have any witness?' He will say, 'Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and his ummah are witnesses.' Then the people of this ummah will bear witness that Nuh (peace be upon him) conveyed Allah's message to his nation, and the Prophet (Muhammad, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) will be a witness over you." Thus, the meaning of Allah Almighty's saying is: "And thus We have made you a just community so that you may be witnesses over the people and the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) may be a witness over you."

Allah’s saying:“Return from where the people return.”(Surah Baqarah: 199)
Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) said: (In the period of ignorance) the Quraysh and those who followed their way used to stay at Muzdalifah, and they were called Hums (considering themselves honorable). All the rest of the Arabs used to stay at Arafat. When Islam came, Allah Almighty commanded His Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "First go to Arafat and stay there, then return from there (to Muzdalifah)."
