Mukhtasar Sahih Muslim
On the Day of Judgment, Allah will grasp the earth and the heavens in His hand.
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty will fold up the heavens on the Day of Resurrection and will take them in His right hand, then He will say: I am the King, where are the mighty ones? Where are the arrogant ones? Then He will fold up the earth with His left hand (which is like the right hand, and that is why in another hadith it is mentioned that both hands of Allah Almighty are right), then He will say: I am the King, where are the mighty ones? Where are the proud ones?

State of the earth on the Day of Judgment.
Sahih Sahl bin Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, people will be gathered on a white, reddish-tinged plain like a loaf of bread, on which no mark of anyone will remain (that is, there will be no buildings such as houses or minarets, it will become a smooth, level plain).

Everyone will be resurrected in the state in which he died.
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say: Every person will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment in the same state in which he died (that is, upon disbelief or faith. Thus, what matters is the ending and the intention at the last moment).

Resurrection will be according to deeds on the Day of Judgment.
`Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: When Allah Almighty intends to punish a people, then everyone among them is afflicted with the punishment (that is, the good and righteous are also included in the punishment), then on the Day of Resurrection, they will be raised according to their deeds (on the Day of Resurrection, the good will not be with the evil).

People will be gathered barefoot, naked, and uncircumcised on the Day of Judgment.
‘Umm al-Mu’minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say that on the Day of Resurrection, people will be gathered barefoot, naked, and uncircumcised. I asked,“O Messenger of Allah! Men and women will be together, will they look at each other?”The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied,“O Aisha! The matter will be much more severe than for them to look at each other (everyone will be absorbed in their own concerns).”

People will be gathered in three groups on the Day of Judgment.
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he (peace be upon him) said: People will be gathered in three groups (this is the gathering that will take place in the world before the Day of Judgment, and it is the last sign after all the other signs). Some will be happy and some will be fearful; two will be on one camel, three on one camel, four on one camel, ten on one camel, and the rest of the people will be gathered by fire. When they stop at night, the fire will also stop; likewise, when they rest at noon, the fire will also stop. And wherever they reach in the morning, the fire will also reach there in the morning, and wherever they reach in the evening, the fire will also reach there in the evening (in short, it will drive all the people to the land of Syria).

Disbelievers will be resurrected on their faces on the Day of Judgment.
Narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man said, "O Messenger of Allah! How will a disbeliever be gathered on his face on the Day of Resurrection?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Is not He (the One) who made him walk on two feet in the world able to make him walk on his face on the Day of Resurrection?" When Qatadah heard this hadith, he said, "Indeed, O our Lord! You have such power."

The sun will be brought close to creation on the Day of Judgment.
Salim bin Amir says that Miqdad bin Aswad (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated to me, saying that I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: On the Day of Resurrection, the sun will be brought near, until it will be at a distance of one mile. Salim bin Amir said: By Allah! I do not know what is meant by "mile"—whether it is the mile which is a measure of distance on earth, or the "mile" which is the stick used for applying kohl to the eyes. People will be submerged in their sweat according to their deeds. Some will be submerged up to their ankles, some up to their knees, some up to their waists, and some will have sweat bridled up to their mouths. And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) pointed with his hand towards his mouth (meaning, sweat will reach up to the mouth).

Abundance of sweat on the Day of Judgment.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Surely, on the Day of Resurrection, (people's) sweat will reach seventy cubits (the span of both hands) into the earth, and for some people it will reach up to their mouths or ears. (The narrator of the hadith) Thawr is uncertain about this (whether he said up to the mouth or up to the ears).

Demanding ransom from disbelievers on the Day of Judgment.
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that Allah Almighty will say to the person who will have the lightest punishment in Hell, "If you had the world and whatever is in it, would you give it to free yourself from the punishment?" He will say, "Yes." Allah Almighty will say, "I had asked you for something much easier than this (which required no expenditure) when you were in the loins of Adam (peace be upon him): that you should not commit shirk (associate partners with Allah), and I would not put you in Hell. But you did not accept and committed shirk." (God forbid, shirk is such a sin that it will not be forgiven, and if a person dies in the state of shirk, he will remain in Hell forever.)
